2 Attend an information session

Visit us Monday – Friday at 8:30am at our offices for an information session to find our more about Lularides.

3 Prepare for and write your learners’ license test

We’ll provide you with a Learners license k53 theory training where you will go through the book and do mock tests to ensure you are thoroughly prepared to pass your learners test.

4 Do a fingerprint check

All of our delivery partners require a clear background check to be able to use their systems.

5 Practical scooter training

You will attend an intensive practical scooter driver training, and then will be assessed on all course components. We will teach you important safety techniques, rules of the road and how to ride a scooter. Once you pass your assessment, you’ll receive your certificate of competence to drive a scooter.

6 Getting ready to ride on various delivery platforms

Once you have your learners license, your background check is cleared and you have completed your practical scooter training we will set you up with a scooter partner and get you on the road to start earning.

There is an administration fee required to get you set up. This includes the cost of getting you licensed and trained to operate on the various delivery platforms.

This program is also funded by various institutions to help reduce the cost of these trainings for you.

Unfortunately, you will not be able to apply for this program if you have a criminal record.

We are currently operating in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, and Cape Town. We are planning to expand to other cities across South Africa soon.

You may work as many hours per day as you choose. The more you work, the more you will earn. But you have the flexibility to make your own hours
